I’m Leonardo, and I’m starting my final year in hospitality, specialising in dining and service. When I was selected for this Erasmus+ project, I was very happy. I knew I would be working - not just having a simple experience abroad - and that didn’t worry me at all; on the contrary, it made me even more engaged. I was lucky enough to work as a bartender, which is the role I feel suits me best. I also really liked the place where I did my internship: “Cafè Gula d’Arte,” a very charming and lively bistro with a great clientele. I got along really well with the owner and the staff and, nice little touch, on my last day they even prepared a cake and a farewell card, which really moved me. I should also say that they would have loved for me to stay and work with them… and who knows, maybe one day… As for the Erasmus experience, besides work, we had time to explore the city of Coimbra and went on cultural trips to Lisbon and Aveiro. Overall, everything went very well!!!! Long live Erasmus!!!!
